The 8th Annual Texas Music awards were held in Marshall, TX. This year proved to be historic for Pauline. She walked away with the highly coveted Entertainer Of The Year Award! This marks the first time a female has won this award. Thanks to all the support from family, friends, and peers!

I'm really excited to start using my video blogs in the next few weeks! It'll take me that long to figure it out, lol! A few new things ya'll should know….

Last weekend's 2nd Annual Reckless Kelly Celebrity Softball Tournament was a blast! Not only was it fun to play softball with my peers, but having everyone spread blankets out on the field at Dell Diamond & watch all of their favorite artists perform for a great cause was something to see. The weather was perfect & everyone had their families there including me. Heidi got up and sang a few with Django Walker & I during our set. I found a few pictures at RoundRockSportPhotos.com. Beneficiaries for the 2010 event include Balcones Little League and Montopolis Little League in Austin, as well as The Miracle League at Town & Country and The Miracle League in San Antonio.

The 8th Annual Texas Music AwardsTM will be held in Marshall, Texas this year at the Marshall Convention Center 2501 East End Boulevard South. Thanks to all of you for voted for me as the Entertainer of the Year. I'm so excited to even be a part of this association but extremely honored to me a nominee and have a chance to be the first female to win this coveted award. The host this year is B.J. The musically acclaimed Justin Pollard (co-producer on Pat Green's "Wave on Wave" record as well as his "Cannon Ball" record) will be producing my 6th album! We have already been in pre-production for our single set to be released on June 1st! This is truly a dream come true!

Speaking of June 1st, we will have all new merchandise on our website! If you want to be ahead of the crowd on the latest we will have some of the merchandise earlier than June 1st at our live shows.

Since signing with Austin Universal Entertainment our touring calendar is really shaping up! Our focus market is Texas & Oklahoma now with a promising future on a nation-wide market. I'm just happy to be out there on the road with my band doing what we all love!

One last piece of info since I keep getting hammered with questions, the 4th Annual Pauline & Outlaws Picnic will be held in mid August! We have an awesome line up in the works! Details will be posted as they are confirmed. Get your ice chests & swim suits ready!

BLOG - 02/05/2010

Happy New Year ya'll! Just thought I'd send word of the latest from Pauline Reese & family. I hope your new year is as prosperous as ours has been so far. All things on the ranch are doing well. Rosie our roping mare is bred again! We look for a foal in about 8 months, the cattle have plenty of grass to graze on thanks to all of the rain. I wish I had a picture of Baby Mae (my dog) to show you right now. As I type she is lying on her back snoring so I guess life is good. I've dedicated 3 days a week to my horse Blue Diamond to get her rode up for all of the rodeo anthems & dances this year.

Our daughter Heidi is growing so fast! She definitely has the music bug. She made her big singing debut on the stage in Boerne, TX for the Radio Free Texas Show. I definitely got upstaged, lol! Over Christmas she received 3 guitars, one of them signed by Uncle Freddy Powers. She loves it when she gets to travel with us & watch the shows (if they are early) but I think the band & I love it more. Until the next one we'll keep working on the guitar skills!

As for the calendar…I've had an offer from one of the most highly respected booking agencies to sign as one of their artists for 2010! I've always wanted to work with A.U.E. (Austin Universal Entertainment) & I feel that this will be a great year with such a wonderful partnership.

My single with Kelly Kenning has done so well on the Texas Music Chart as well as the TRRR Chart (Billboard affiliated). Let's Get Together & Say Goodbye" moved to the top 20 on both! Out of 60 top male entertainers on those lists I was grateful to be one of the only two women! Thank you all SO much for your requests, dedication, and support!

We will go into the studio this Spring to record album #6! This being said I've been doing a lot of co-writing with some of my most highly respected writers. That in itself has been a blast! I can't wait to show ya'll what we came up with!

A huge thanks to XM & Sirus Satellite Radio for playing songs from all of my albums on your country stations. The emails, phone calls & tweets are a great inspiration to me! You are greatly appreciated!

In the movie scene I've been asked to be a part of a feature movie to be filmed here in Austin! We shoot the trailer in the next two weeks. As for "The Reckoning" movie short it will be available on my website soon! There are plans to make this film into a feature & I've been asked to write the music. A western? This is right up my alley! I'll keep you posted on details as they come.

SIGNED WITH

We are proud to announce that Smith Entertainment Group (discovered Randy Rogers) signed Pauline to a distribution & promotion deal in 2009! They put her fifth album "Rolling Stone" in stores all across Texas & Oklahoma! They are currently promoting one of her songs on the radio "Feet don't touch the Ground" in that same market. Her next single will be released this summer 2009!

LITTLE ANGEL

Pauline & her husband Bill became the proud parents of a bouncing baby girl this past October! We welcome Heidi to the family!

FARM AID

Pauline was asked to perform at Farm Aid 2006 & 2007 in New York with such legends as the Allman Brothers, John Cougar Mellencamp, Neil Young, Willie Nelson, Dave Matthews, Montgomery Gentry and many others. Pauline was the only returning act other than the board members to perform at Farm Aid. During the 2008 Farm Aid concert Pauline was giving birth to her first child. A beautiful baby girl named Heidi!

AWARDS

Her album "Too Texas" was nominated for album of the year in 2007 by the Academy of Texas Music! A song off that album "Lone Star Flag" was nominated for record of the year in 2008.

MOVIES

She is also expanding her career to acting! Pauline just got the lead female role in a movie! "Far Enough" will begin shooting summer 2009. The short for the movie was shown at the 2008 Ft. Worth film festival. She also has recently been asked to appear in a movie in Houston, Texas. More details soon!

EUROPEAN TOUR

Pauline has had extreme success in Europe with sold out shows in many countries & has been asked to return for a 2009 tour in late summer. Her 2008 tour included Switzerland, Germany, Italy and France.

GRAMMY

Pauline was invited to sing on a CD with T. Gosney, Augie Meyers & Flaco Jimenez which was nominated for a Grammy in the Latin Category.

EMMY

First of all congratulations to our friend Taco for his nomination & brilliant cinematography! We were all there at the awards to show our love & support. All of the cast & crew were nominated for an Emmy for a public service announcement supporting the Julia Spears Foundation. Pauline was among Willie Nelson, Billy Joe Shaver, and Little Joe Hernandez & others.
